On 10th June, 2011, an opening ceremony of music concert dedicated to the 66th birthday of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi was held at the headquarters of NLD. Vice Chairman U Tin Oo made an opening speech for the ceremony. Central Executive Committee members U Hla Pe, U Han Thar Myint, U Win Myint, Daw May Win Myint and U Win Htein attended the ceremony. The concert will be held starting from 10th June till the birthday of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. About 30 teams or individuals will participate in the music competition and 5 teams will be shortlisted for the final contest to be held on the birthday of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. Experienced musicians such as Ko Ye Lwin, Zeya Thaw, Thar Htwe, Toe Lwin, Ko Aung and Nyein Thit will conduct as referees for the contest.
